Introduction

Dr. Alamo earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree at Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine in 2006. He completed a two year post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and New York/Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY in 2008. Focused training on implants, oral surgery, and sedation. Dr. Alamo was in his private practice in Texas prior to moving to the DMV area. In 2019, Dr. Alamo was inducted as a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD), fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only. Dr Alamo is a co-founder of a medical technology start-up, VeMiDoc, a platform focused on patient management and medical health outcomes. Dr. Alamo is a 2022 graduate of the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington, a research-based learning center on dental occlusion, function, and esthetics. Dr. Alamo volunteers with organizations locally with Missions of Mercy and at Hispanic Dental Association clinics; and internationally, in Nicaragua and Panama providing dental treatment. Dr. Alamo is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Hispanic Dental Association.
